Push the Rock Unlock partners one board slot at a time
Coins buy individual helpers and a speed boost. There is no known gamepass skip and no reason to tap every joke portrait first.
Partners are the spend layer of Push the Rock. You push, you survive the rollback, you slide for coins, then you open a board and unlock helpers one at a time. That board is the shop. There is no known gamepass that dumps the roster into your inventory. Public trackers list none for universe 9745798212. If you are staring at a Robux screen from a different rock game, you are in the wrong place.
This page is the economy, not a ranked list. For rankings open the partner tier list and best partners. For combinations with the speed boost, use builds. For the coins that feed the board, use how to farm coins.
Studio Stinky launched on 17 February 2026 and last updated the experience on 13 April 2026. The board still works the same way in current footage: individual unlocks, paid with in-game coins, sitting next to a speed boost you can also buy.
What a partner actually does
A partner is a helper on your climb, not a second player you invite. Servers are already online with up to 18 avatars; those people are not your purchased partner. The board character runs with your push and makes the next hold more useful. You should feel the difference on the shove after you buy, not in a menu tooltip this wiki cannot quote.
Gameplay videos call out pop-culture figures on the board. A Squid Game mask man is the example players remember. Treat that as proof the roster is a mix of joke portraits and actual helpers, not as a full index. This page will not invent a complete name list, rarity table, or hidden crafting tree. If a face looks like a meme, it can still be a real unlock — or it can be a coin sink. Buy what you can feel.
Partners do not replace the loop. You still tire, you still let go, you still have to leave the lane. A helper that makes the boulder climb farther also makes a missed let-go more expensive, because the rock has more hill to roll back. Spend, then re-learn the drop on how to play.
How the board unlocks
Open the partner board from the on-screen UI. There is no confirmed keyboard shortcut; controls keeps auto-push and codes on HUD buttons for the same reason. Slots unlock individually. You buy one helper, close the board, push again, come back when you can afford the next.
Do not assume every portrait is available at spawn for a single checkout. The board is a ladder. Early coins should clear the first useful rung, not the funniest face in the back row. If a slot is visible but grey, you need more coins, not a code. Codes are a separate HUD field with no independently verified public list as of September 2026 — see how to redeem and stop pasting lists from Push and Slide.
World badges are a different ladder. Unlocking World 2 does not automatically fill the partner board. You may earn coins faster on a later map, which makes more slots affordable. That is still the same shop, not a new gacha. Track maps on the worlds walkthrough and the world tracker; track helpers here.
The speed boost is a separate unlock
Footage and player notes treat a speed boost as its own purchase, not as a random partner perk. Buy it when the price is honest relative to another board slot. Speed helps the shove and the slide. It also helps you run into the rollback faster if your let-go timing is sloppy. Pair it with a partner you already understand, then practice one clean descent before you stack more faces.
If you can afford either a joke portrait or the boost, take the boost unless the portrait is the helper you can already feel in a clip. Ego cosmetics do not bank World 3.
How to spend the first stacks
- Complete at least one clean slide so you know coins are coming from the descent, not from standing next to the rock. Getting started covers that first session.
- Open the board. Identify the cheapest unlock that changes the next push.
- Buy it. Close the UI. Do another cycle. Confirm you feel it.
- Save toward the speed boost or the next helper that also changes the hold. Skip the rest of the joke row.
- Only then open the partner tier list and argue about later slots.
Do not empty the bag on three portraits in one visit if you have not tested one. The board will still be there after the next slide. The boulder will not.
Eighteen-player servers mean you will see other people’s helpers. Copy the ones that are clearly moving a rock farther, not the ones that are only loud. Loud is not a tier.
What partners are not
They are not gamepass bundles. They are not required co-op invites. They are not world bosses. They are not a reason to skip the slide. They are not a substitute for leaving the lane when your avatar tires.
They are also not transferable evidence that you are in Push and Slide or Push A Rock. Those games use similar language (“mythical partners”) in their descriptions. Confirm place 139574563597312. Confirm Studio Stinky. Then spend.
If a thumbnail promises a secret partner behind a code, ignore it until codes verifies a string. This wiki will not invent one to fill a slot.
After the board feels readable
Once two unlocks have changed your shove, stop treating the board as the whole game. Income still comes from coin farming. Difficulty still comes from badge win rates on later worlds — World 2 around 36%, World 3 around 6%, World 4 around 0.4%, Worlds 5 and 6 near zero. A full board on World 1 does not make World 6 a casual badge. Use the progress checklist so you know whether you are collecting helpers or actually changing maps.
Patch notes belong on updates. If Studio Stinky adds a new row to the board after April 2026, buy with the same rule: one slot, one test shove, no meme dump. Official links stay on the links hub. The loop stays on how to play. The board is only the cashier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for hill climbs, partners, and world badges.
How do I unlock partners in Push the Rock?
Earn coins on the slide, open the partner board in the HUD, and buy helpers one at a time. There is no confirmed hotkey and no known gamepass that grants the roster.
Is the Squid Game mask man a real unlock?
Gameplay footage shows pop-culture figures on the board, including a Squid Game mask man as a helper players notice. Treat that as an example, not as a full official index.
Should I buy the speed boost or a partner first?
Buy whichever cheaper unlock you can feel on the next shove. If those prices are close, the speed boost is the safer unique effect. Then test a descent before buying more faces.
Do partners make me immune to the rollback?
No. Your avatar still tires and lets go. A stronger climb can make a missed drop worse. Leave the lane. See how to play.
Can I skip the board with Robux?
Public trackers list no known gamepasses for this universe. Recheck the store tab after patches. Until then, coins are the gate.
Where should I go for rankings?
This page is the unlock economy. Rankings live on the partner tier list and best partners. Loadouts live on builds.
